University of Jiu Jitsu - About

The University of Jiu Jitsu was created by Saulo and Xande Ribeiro in 2007. Assisted by their long-time coach Royler Gracie, the Ribeiro brothers have created a refreshing concept in martial arts instruction.

Ignoring today's focus on the commercial aspects of martial arts, Saulo and Xande have instead returned to traditional samurai values. These values focus on attitude, discipline, family, honor, loyalty, and respect. The University welcomes all students who are ready to commit to these values and study martial arts as a true life path.
